Great series of articles. I actually downloaded the 14 day trial and decided I wasn't going to play after that. That was a year ago and I'm still on. What really won me over to the game was that I had a couple buddies who I didn't see too often in RL tell me they were on WoW. I figured it would be more fun playing with people I knew. It was, even though I had no regular interaction with them in game due to large level differences at the time, it was nice to chat with them now and again. The social element is what I feel keeps the game going. Silvermoon server has always been helpful when I had questions. I would ask a question in general chat and get like 5 tells with the answer. Anyway, I'm rambling.

If you do decide to try out an RP realm, I can vouch for Shadow Council. And no, you don't need to know a damn thing about the lore -- no one else does...

I don't have a need for an Auto Assault trial disc, BTW.
